Abstract
Se determinó la contaminación acústica generada por el tráfico automotor en la ciudad de Armenia Quindío, durante los meses de Agosto de 2005 a Marzo de 2006, inicialmente mediante una fase teórica consistente en una compilación bibliográfica completa sobre la temática y una fase práctica registrando los dB(A) generados en 13 puntos de la ciudad; sitios previamente establecidos con la ayuda de las autoridades de tránsito.
