Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper focuses on the development of bilingual education in Canada. It discusses the main theoretical concepts of bilingualism. It further sets out to analyze sociolinguistic aspects of bilingualism, by providing historical background which refers to attitudes and conditions that have led to the process of building foundations of bilingualism in Canada within the educational framework. The aim of the paper is to provide an overview of second-language programs in Canada; French Immersion, Core French and Heritage Language Program. In addition, the paper highlights the integration process of languages other than English and French, which are official languages in Canada.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
