Abstract
Buçalışmada; çocukluğunu Trakya’da geçirmiş ve babası otuz yıl boyunca (1986-2016) kesintisiz bakkal dükkânı işletmiş biri olarak Trakya’da bakkallarınnasıl bir sosyalleşme işlevi gördüğüne değinmek istiyorum. Trakya’datoptancılık yaparken gezdiğim, gördüğüm bakkallara ilişkin gözlem ve anılarımında eşlik edeceği yazıda 1990’lı yılların bakkallarına ve bakkalcıkarakterlerine de yer vermek niyetindeyim. Trakyabakkallarının anlatıldığı bir yazıda içki kültürüne yer vermemek olmaz. Trakyabakkalları sadece içkinin satın alındığı yerler değil, aynı zamanda ayaküstüiçki sohbetlerinin yapıldığı hatta bazı bakkalların arka odalarında enikonumeyhane hayatının yaşandığı yerlerdir. Dolayısıyla ayaküstü uğranılan bu mekânlarınvazgeçilmez kahramanlarının belli başlı özellikleri, Trakya’ya özgü sohbetkonuları ve birbirleriyle kurdukları sıra dışı ilişkiler hikâye edilirken;bakkalların postane, eczane, kahvehane olmalarının yanı sıra meyhane işlevigördükleri de hatırlatılacaktır.
