Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Objective: This thesis examined whether maternal glycemic control during pregnancy is predictive of offspring adiposity among pregnancies complicated by type 2 diabetes. Methods: 283 eligible mothers with type 2 diabetes who participated in a randomized controlled trial and its follow-up study were included in the study cohort. Maternal glycemic control by trimester and offspring adiposity measurements up to 24 months of age were prospectively collected. Results: Mean maternal capillary blood glucose (CBG) in second trimester had a weak positive association with offspring body mass index (BMI) z-score at 18 months of age, but not at 24 months. Second trimester hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and mean CBG predicted risk of childhood obesity at 24 months. Third trimester glycemic control had no impact on offspring adiposity in early childhood. Conclusion: A weak positive association was found between maternal glycemic control in the second trimester and offspring adiposity up to 24 months of age in pregnancies complicated by type 2 diabetes.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
