Abstract
Resumen: Colombia, debido a que es un país que está en guerra actualmente, presenta un problema de minado de alto riesgo debido a que más del 60% del total de los municipios se encuentran afectados por minas antipersonas, es por esto que el gobierno colombiano realiza el plan de desminado humanitario con la ayuda del Batallón de Desminado No.60 del Coronel Gabino Gutiérrez, de la Brigada Especial de Ingenieros. Debido a esta problemática que afecta tanto a la población militar como a la civil y debido al compromiso con el tratado de Ottawa, nace la necesidad de brindar un aporte ingenieril que contribuya a maximizar la eficiencia en el desminado, disminuyendo las bajas civiles o animales así como el riesgo de sufrir alguna amputación. En el presente trabajo, se realiza un estudio de las maquinas usadas a nivel internacional y nacional, las nuevas tecnologías y se hace la presentación de un diseño una nueva propuesta de máquina que cumpla con la función del desminado.
