Abstract
This articles summarizes some of Mishna's preliminary research on online abuse, gathered by a research team that lead focus groups with students in grades 5 to 12 in the Greater Toronto Area. Key findings include the anonymity and power the computer provides for bullies and the reluctance of victims to tell adults about cyber bullying for fear of losing computer privileges.
