Abstract
Las neoplasias del segmento urinario son poco usuales en caninos y de los hemangiomas se reporta aparición en cualquier lecho vascular siendo de origen mesenquimal. Este tipo de patologías se presentan en pacientes de edades avanzadas y se describen predisposiciones raciales como el Pastor Alemán, Golden Retriever, Labrador y Bóxer. La signología clínica en este tipo de neoplasias es inespecífica en la mayoría de los casos; sin embargo, se describen algunos signos como dificultad para orinar, inapetencia, decaimiento y distensión abdominal. El diagnóstico de estos procesos tumorales se basa en la anamnesis, el examen clínico, pruebas sanguíneas, imágenes diagnósticas (ecografía, radiografía, tomografía) e histopatología, y como tratamiento se utiliza la extracción quirúrgica y protocolos quimioterapéuticos. El presente caso clínico describe el manejo médico, quirúrgico y la evolución presentada en meses de seguimiento a un canino Golden, geronte, diagnosticado con leiomioma extraluminal vesical y hemangioma esplénico.
