Se realizaron análisis de la información existente en la corporación con relación al tramo en estudio, específicamente lo consignado en el Plan de Ordenamiento de cuencas hidrográficas del rio Pamplonita. Igualmente, se evaluó la demanda del recurso hídrico en el tramo correspondiente desde la desembocadura de la quebrada Iscalá hasta el puente San Rafael en la ciudad de Cúcuta, identificando los vertimientos existentes en el correspondiente desde la desembocadura de la quebrada Iscalá hasta el puente San Rafael en la ciudad de Cúcuta. Por ultimo, se desarrollaron encuestas con el fin de evaluar los diferentes usos del agua en el tramo de estudio.
