Abstract
El Piper Cheyenne II PA-31T es un avión bimotor construido por Piper Aircraft, Es una aeronave pequeña diseñada para 6 pasajeros, cuenta con motores Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-28. Este proyecto está enfocado en realizar una propuesta de procedimiento para llevar a cabo la orden de ingeniería para alteración mayor, suministrando las instrucciones necesarias para modificar la aeronave, basado en la documentación técnica y las instrucciones del Certificado Tipo Suplementario - STC SA00863SE. Obteniendo como resultado, la remoción de los motores PT6A-28, correspondiente a la modificación mayor de la aeronave Piper Cheyenne II PA-31T, instalando motores PT6A-135A Pratt & Whitney y hélices Hartzell HC-E4N3N/D8990SB. De esta forma, es mejorado el rendimiento de la aeronave y la disminución de consumo de combustible. (apartes del texto)
