Abstract
This is the life history of Wendy Priesnitz, a Canadian pioneer in the home education movement, a social activist, and well known writer. It is her contribution to alternative education that brought me to her. The topic of home education became the flame to illuminate Wendy's life as an activist--a woman who challenges the status quo in education, parenting, and traditional work places.
