Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Canadian infrastructure is deteriorating at an alarming rate, and accruing an expensive bill in rehabilitation expenses. Various infrastructure systems are attempting to assess performance in order to allocate resources accordingly. However, there is a lack of interoperable means for sharing information about infrastructure performance. This research presents a concept for a generic and comprehensive performance assessment model that may be applied to infrastructure systems in order to assess performance and identify needs more precisely in an interoperable fashion. The model focuses on transportation, water, wastewater and power supply systems. Five main unified performance measures were selected for the systems and served as categories for the various performance indicators. The model was improved through input from domain experts. An XML schema was developed for the model, which will promote system interoperability and enhance system compatibility. An interactive user interface was developed to support the education of the model users.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
