Abstract
El presente diseño de pavimento rígido se elabora bajo dos metodologías establecidas en “el manual de diseño de pavimento de concretos para vías con bajo, medios y altos volúmenes de tránsito” Canadian Portland Cement Association (CPCA) y AASHTO 93 (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) , avalados por el Invias Los parámetros de diseño requeridos serán obtenidos en base a los datos de campo como levantamiento topográfico, estudio de suelos y un detallado análisis de las condiciones específicas del terreno mediante inspección visual. El procedimiento de diseño establece que una vez identificadas las variables obtenidas en campo se procede a clasificar la variable tránsito y a partir de estos parámetros se define la estructura de pavimento que garantiza la adecuada condición de movilidad para el transito proyectado
