Abstract
Les résultats de ce suivi montrent que la composition nutritionnelle des biscuits et galettes offerts et vendus en 2024 ne s’est pas améliorée depuis 2019. Au contraire, les teneurs en gras saturés ont augmenté de manière significative. Par conséquent, une plus faible proportion de produits respecte les seuils de 15 % de la VQ pour les gras saturés en 2024 comparativement à 2019. Par ailleurs, une plus grande proportion de produits modifiés a augmenté plutôt que diminué sa teneur en gras saturés. Si aucun changement n’est apporté, la majorité des biscuits et galettes disponibles au Québec aurait à afficher le symbole nutritionnel sur le devant de leur emballage en raison de leur contenu élevé en gras saturés et/ou en sucres. De réels efforts devront être déployés afin d’améliorer la composition nutritionnelle des biscuits et galettes offerts et vendus au Québec dans les années à venir.
