Abstract
Ensayo sobre las emociones dominantes del continente latinoamericano, y sus incidencias para comprender así mismo y proyectarse. Desde una perspectiva histórica y sociológica, el autor Mauricio García Villegas, recorre el rol de las emociones en el contexto de los individuos, luego de las comunidades, países y en particular el continente América Latina. Especialmente en su proceso de Conquista y procesos de independencia. La historia de conquista del continente, deposita sobre los hombros de esos pueblos sentimientos de resentimiento, rabia e impotencia, denominados, sentimientos tristes, según Spinoza. La presente reseña, presenta en parte el libro, y plantea algunas ideas para el dialogo con el autor sobre temas abiertos.
