Abstract
Esta monografía tiene como propósito elaborar la factibilidad técnica de adquisición del recurso hídrico en el desarrollo de YNC, en una zona del Magdalena medio. Se describe los tipos de yacimientos de HNC de forma general, se define el concepto de fracturamiento hidráulico, fluido utilizado, haciendo énfasis en el ciclo del agua en el fracturamiento hidráulico, dando enfoque al primer punto del ciclo adquisición del agua. Se realizó un análisis de las condiciones actuales del uso del recurso hídrico en el desarrollo de YNC en Estados Unidos y Canada, volúmenes usados en pozos horizontales fracturados de gas y petróleo NC y lo más importante las condiciones de abastecimiento de agua, tipo de fuente, riesgos de agotamiento, reglamentación a nivel local y nacional y recomendaciones para el uso equilibrado de este recurso vital. Se ubica el área de estudio en el VMM en el bloque HNC VMM5 que comprende los municipios de Yondo, Puerto Berrio (Antioquia), Barrancabermeja, Cimitarra, Puerto Parra (Santander), se identifican las formaciones con mayor prospectividad de producción de HNC (Formaciones La Luna, Tablazo y la Formación Rosablanca), también se identifican la propiedades del yacimiento y el potencial energético de Oíl & Gas. Por último se hace el análisis de factibilidad de adquisición del recurso hídrico para el desarrollo del YHNC en el bloque VMM5, se analiza el ciclo hidrológico de la cuenca, oferta hídrica y la demanda total actual del recurso hídrico, se especifica el uso del recurso en el área de hidrocarburos y lo volúmenes usados por pozo convencional y se estiman los volúmenes de agua que se podría necesitar para la perforación de un pozo exploratorio de HNC. Se concluye entonces que el área del bloque VMM5 presenta una alta oferta del recurso hídrico superficial y subterráneo, factible para la operación sostenible de proyectos de HNC
