A Symmetric Bipolar Isolated Combined Cuk-SEPIC Converter Using Single Switch
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This work presents a newly developed isolated symmetric bipolar DC-DC topology with an adjustable high voltage gain that can be regulated through independent parameters. The proposed topology delivers equal-magnitude positive and negative output voltages referenced to a common ground, based on the combination of the typical characteristics found in the Single-Ended Primary-Inductor Converter (SEPIC) and the inverting output seen on the Ćuk converter that operates with a single active switch. The design features two key control parameters: the transformer turns ratio and the switching duty cycle, providing flexible voltage gain control. A turns ratio of one enables a wide buck-boost voltage range, while increasing the ratio facilitates integration with low-voltage renewable sources connected to bipolar DC grids. The proposed converter maintains a continuous input current with minimized ripple, making it highly appropriate for integration with renewable energy sources and energy storage systems. Its performance is substantiated through both theoretical modeling and simulation evaluation, using a model designed to operate in continuous conduction mode (CCM).

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
