Abstract
Ces résultats montrent certains changements dans la composition nutritionnelle des repas surgelés offerts et vendus en 2023 par rapport à 2018. Les teneurs en énergie, en lipides, en protéines et en sodium ont augmenté de manière significative dans les repas offerts. Une plus faible proportion de repas respecte les seuils de 30 % de la VQ pour le sodium et les gras saturés en 2023 comparativement à 2018. Par ailleurs, les repas modifiés ont connu une détérioration de leur composition nutritionnelle. Si aucun changement n’est apporté, la majorité des repas surgelés disponibles au Québec aurait à afficher le symbole nutritionnel sur le devant de leur emballage en raison de leur contenu élevé en sodium, en gras saturés et/ou en sucres. De réels efforts devront être déployés afin d’améliorer la composition nutritionnelle des repas surgelés offerts et vendus au Québec dans les années à venir.
