La Universitat de Girona va acollir, el passat mes de setembre del 2003, la XXVI Trobada de Joves Geògrafs. L’acte, que portava per títol «Parlen les geografies», va reunir joves estudiants i llicenciats de geografia de tot l’Estat espanyol, amb l’objectiu de posar de relleu la perspectiva plural i integradora de la geografia a l’hora d’abordar l’anàlisi, l’ordenació i la gestió del territori.
