Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This dataset provides quality-controlled stream temperature time series from 3 freshwater monitoring sites on the West coast of Vancouver Island, within the Mowachaht-Muchalaht First Nations territories. The three sensors were installed on May 29, 2024 and removed on May 28, 2025, producing a dataset of about 1 year. Temperature data were collected using in-situ sensors and processed to produce one representative time series per site at a uniform 10-minute resolution. Data processing included consolidation of raw sensor files, verification of timestamps and sampling intervals, and application of standardized quality flags informed by automated checks and field documentation. Where sensors were replaced at the same location, records were merged to maintain continuity, and periods affected by site changes or known influences were retained and identified through flags. All timestamps are reported in a fixed local time zone to ensure temporal consistency.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
