Abstract
Having read works of Thomas King and Gerald Vizenor and done general research on their literary works, I am confident that their works can be discussed comparatively although they have rarely discussed in pair. Both King and Vizenor have been working as a spokesperson for their native communities and published literary works that question the national framework as well as the U.S.-Canadian border. They approach to the similar issues in a similar playful postmodernist manner. In addition to their similarities, I found it necessary to consider the following two aspects that would differentiate King and Vizenor : 1) King's short story, "Borders" and Vizenor's cosmopolitanism. King does not simply celebrate symbolic possibility of border-crossing but also represents its actual risks and dangers. In order to define King's literary attitude more clearly, I am now looking into the story and its social and cultural background. While figuring out the context of King's short story, I also started reexamining Vizenor's cosmopolitanism and political activities. So far, I have not yet reached any firm conclusion and am still working on these topics.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
