Abstract
[Resumen] En el presente trabajo se expondrá la inmigración española a Estados Unidos (1870-1936). El trabajo pretende realizar una radiografía de los diversos perfiles migratorios españoles en el país norteamericano. El trabajo se encuentra dentro del área de la sociología histórica, por lo que realizará una metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa. La metodología empleada consistirá en acudir a fuentes históricas censales estadounidenses y españolas; la mayor parte del trabajo consiste en un estudio sociodemográfico. Se acudirá a fuentes cualitativas como periódicos o material fotográfico correspondiente al periodo que se esté estudiando, esto tiene el fin de matizar y contextualizar la investigación. El temario analizado ha sido poco estudiado, por lo que esta investigación tiene un carácter exploratorio, aunque con intención de ser lo más completo posible.
