Abstract
The article examines one of the most important the formation of international market of educational services by attracting foreign students into developed countries. We have presented opinions of famous foreign researchers on the problem and those of Russian researchers. We have presented the statistical data of the number of foreign students not only worldwide but also in some leading countries such as the US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia. We have analyzed the reasons for the increase or reduction of the presence of foreign students in their host country of study. We have noted high indicators of American universities here, occupying a leading position in this field. We have also noted a quite recent trend of increased competition from other countries, such as Australia and Canada.
