Abstract
The article analyzes the protests that took place in Canada in the winter of 2022. Particular attention is paid to the discrepancy between the proclaimed political values and political reality in Canada. The political technologies used by the protesters during the protests of the Freedom Convoy and counteraction by the authorities are indicated. In conclusion, the author gives a forecast of what further protest events in the Western World may lead to.
