Publikacja będąca efektem eksperymentu „myślenia poprzez muzeum”, podjętego w ramach seminarium uniwersyteckiego na Wydziale Polonistyki UJ we współpracy z badaczami uczestniczącymi w projekcie Thinking Through the Museum (Canada). Przedstawione teksty relacjonują interwencję muzealną w Muzeum Etnograficznym im. Seweryna Udzieli w Krakowie, polegającą na konfrontowaniu najważniejszych wypowiedzi ostatnich lat odnoszących się do polskiej tożsamości z materiałem ekspozycyjnym wystawy stałej.
