Abstract
Did you know that our current CU Anschutz Medical Campus sits on the site of a former U.S. Army medical base and had an interesting journey to get here? That the land our campus now occupies includes ancestral homelands of the Arapaho people? Or that the history of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center got its start in Boulder in 1883? Have you ever wondered, "Who is that person whose name I see on a building or a space?" Students, employees and alumni are invited to our inaugural CU Anschutz History Day on Tuesday, November 19. Hear about our origins and early days from a panel of speakers, enjoy a free lunch and take tours of historic spots on our campus.
