Cet article présente le récit réflexif d’une expérimentation d’une démarche autobiographique en petit groupe (DAPG) menée en 2019 avec un groupe de jeunes adultes en situation de raccrochage scolaire. Ce groupe était animé au moyen d’une approche d’éducation populaire par des travailleurs.euses communautaires d’un organisme communautaire autonome, le Bureau de consultation jeunesse. Les retombées et les limites de cette démarche sont analysées sous l’angle des idées fortes de la pédagogie des opprimé.e.s de Freire et de la méthodologie du travail social de groupe. Ce bilan réflexif permet, d’une part, de concevoir la DAPG comme une méthode spécifique en travail social de groupe et, d’autre part, de discuter des défis de la mise en action des concepts de la pédagogie des opprimé.e.s.
