Le presenti riflessioni intendono affrontare il tema relativo alle corporazioni in una storia di ‘lunga durata’, allo scopo di contribuire a creare un’altra idea di Modernità, diversa da quella hobbesiana e, contemporaneamente, rousseauiana, fondata sul binomio sovrano-suddito/cittadino. Si è elaborato un ‘modello he geliano’ capace, per un verso, di criticare le corporazioni di Antico regime ma, dall’altro, di evidenziare, da subito, la loro importanza decisiva nella ‘società ci vile’, in relazione alla moderna economia capitalistica, alle sue contraddizioni, e, contemporaneamente, alla loro rilevanza nella Verfassung dello ‘Stato politi co’. Tale modello poi, è utilizzato come matrice critica del ‘modello totalitario’, emergente, in Italia, specificamente, in Carlo Costamagna, che presenta lo ‘Stato fascista integrale’ come un «corporativismo senza corporazioni».
