Attitudes of the Czech Public to Climate Change on Earth – September/November 2022
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In a survey conducted from the beginning of September to the beginning of November 2022, the CVVM SOÚ AV ČR dealt with the long-standing and highly debated topic of climate change on Earth. We were interested in what the Czech public thinks about this topic. Just under three-fifths (58%) of respondents are somewhat worried about the impacts of climate change (14% very worried, 44% somewhat worried), while 39% are not worried. Just under two-fifths (39%) of respondents are interested in the issue of climate change, with 6% 'very interested' and 33% 'somewhat interested'. More than a quarter (28%) of respondents think that human activity contributes 'a lot' to climate change, another 32% think it contributes 'a lot' and just under a third (32%) think it contributes 'a little'. Only 3% of respondents believe that human activity is 'not contributing at all' to climate change. 35% of respondents feel personally responsible for climate change on Earth, while the majority (61%) do not feel personally responsible.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
