Abstract
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to describe and compare pre-service teacher training programs in biology and natural sciences in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Denmark. The thesis focuses on analyzing the study programs in these countries that prepare teachers for biology and natural sciences. The primary research method for data collection was a review of available literature and relevant documents. The analysis emphasizes the structure and content of these programs, including key elements of the educational process that affect the quality of teacher preparation. The results provide an overview of the current state of teacher training in the mentioned countries and contribute to the discussion on potential improvements.
