Abstract
This research explores how friendship habits, or whether we usually socialize in groups or dyads, predict contextual influences on emotion recognition. Participants from six cultures will complete an emotion recognition task, report their socializing practices, and traits associated with dyadic versus group-oriented friendship preferences.
