Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Vysočany have undergone significant transformation over the past decades. The traditional industrial quarter has been gradually evolving into a residential quarter, through visible developer interventions, but also due to less visible changes of functions. Firstly, the thesis discusses theoretical concepts related to inner city changes. Secondly, it analyzes recent changes in Vysočany based on comparations of data for the years 2011 and 2021. In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the observed phenomena, the analysis focuses on the physical, functional, and also social structure. Finally, the thesis presents the typology of territorial units, evaluating Vysočany as a significantly heterogeneous area in terms of analyzed internal structures. Key words: brownfields, deindustrialization, gentrification, new build gentrification, inner city, urban spatial structure

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
