Abstract
I en kronik til Berlingske den 28. december 2019 gør professor Marlene Wind status over det liberale demokratis afvikling i Europa gennem 10erne. Afviklingen skyldes ifølge Wind blandt andet, at de europæiske ledere har været for sløve med at reagere på de liberale faresignaler, man har set i Europa, særligt Central- og Østeuropa. Som et af de ifølge Wind grelleste eksempler nævner hun de politiske reformer i Ungarn. Hun slutter kronikken af med at konkludere, at ”10erne kan gå over i historien som det årti, hvor vi sagde farvel til det liberale demokrati”.
