This bachelor thesis deals with the breeding and use of Labrador Retriever in the Czech Republic. It describes the development of the breed and its history in the world and the Czech Republic. The characteristics of the Labrador Retriever and the possibilities of its use and training are also mentioned. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis focuses on the organizations supporting the breeding of this breed and the conditions of breeding and reproduction. Hereditary diseases and health problems of the Labrador Retriever are also mentioned. In the practical part of this bachelor thesis the breeding of the breed in the Czech Republic is evaluated. It summarizes the development of breeding in the period 1995-2021 and the distribution of the breed in the Czech Republic.
