Dette interview lavet af Politiken sætter fokus på kampen for LGBT+-rettigheder i Europa-Parlamentet. I artiklen interviewes flere politiske aktører, blandt andet Marlene Wind, som fortæller om Parlamentet rolle i kampen fr LGBT-rettgiheder i EU. Hun påpeger, at Parlamentet ofte er det sted, der lægger scene til den europæiske kamp om værdier og menneskerettigheder, har de symbolske handlinger stor betydning, selv når de ikke fører til konkrete lovændringer.
