Abstract
En 2013, Maurice Tardif publiait un texte intitulé « Où s’en va la professionnalisation de l’enseignement ? » interrogant les résultats de ce mouvement 30 ans après son émergence. L’auteur mettait en évidence le fait que la professionnalisation était alors confrontée à différents facteurs qui bloquent son développement. Cet article propose de renouveler la réflexion initiée plus de 10 ans après la publication de l’article de Tardif, à partir de deux cas illustratifs, soit le Québec et le Brésil. Les transformations actuelles qui marquent la profession enseignante sont analysées dans une perspective large, interrogeant la trajectoire actuelle du mouvement de professionnalisation de l’enseignement et suggérant l’émergence d’un nouvel âge, celui de la déprofessionnalisation, qui se caractérise notamment par l’émergence d’un professionnalisme managérial et une professionnalité vocationnelle chez les enseignant·e·s.
