Este volume reúne ensaios dedicados à tradição oral moderna do romanceiro. Sob as secções “Poéticas do romanceiro”, “Tradição e coleções modernas. Estudo e edição”, “Romanceiro, transmissão e sociedade” e “Romanceiro e cultura digital”, os estudos concentram-se na poética, nas compilações e recoleções contemporâneas, nas interseções entre o romanceiro e a sociedade e, por último, nos arquivos digitais dedicados a este género poético.
