Abstract
"Une transition réussie du secondaire au collégial va au-delà de l’admission: elle suppose la réussite dès la première session et la persévérance. Le tableau de bord montréalais sur la transition secondaire-collégial, une initiative unique au Québec, suit le parcours de 65 000 élèves pour guider les interventions interordres et favoriser une transition harmonieuse. En partageant leurs données, les institutions secondaires et collégiales de Montréal impliquées dans l’initiative Trajectoires cherchent à mieux comprendre les facteurs influençant les transitions difficiles, notamment l’impact des milieux défavorisés, des jeunes avec besoins particuliers, de la francisation ou encore du programme suivi au secondaire. Ces travaux examinent aussi les différences genrées, l’influence des antécédents en français et en mathématiques ou entre les élèves qui accèdent directement ou tardivement au cégep. Les premiers résultats permettent d’identifier des pistes d’action locales et régionales pour réduire les inégalités d’accès et de réussite, offrant des perspectives inspirantes pour le Québec." -- AQPC
