カナダ・ケベック州では先住民族クリー人の反対によりウラン鉱山開発が中止された。本研究では、クリー人が鉱山開発反対に回った経緯、その意見を尊重して中止を決定したケベック州政府、さらにはその根拠となった協定を中心に中止の経緯を明らかにした。そして米軍基地の建設が進む沖縄からの視点で、この事件を分析してみた。
