Novelty Patriotic Top Hat - Many Canadians love hockey and beer, and these passions have become part of the Canadian identity or stereotype. This felt hat was part of Molson Brewery’s “I AM CANADIAN” marketing scheme, provoking Canadian patriotism and consumption of Molson Canadian, a popular Canadian beer. The hat was commonly seen worn by folks cheering on Canadian hockey teams at international events. Book: “How to be a Canadian” by Will Ferguson and Ian Ferguson - A satirically written book that celebrates Canadian culture and icons, advancing stereotypes and the customs of a proud people.
