Abstract
情報通信技術の発展によって,企業情報開示のあり方が変化してきている。カナダにおいては,米国のEDGARシステムにならった電子開示システム(SEDAR)が1997年から稼働しており,電子メディアによる情報開示が強制されている。これにより,証券市場の効率性と公平性の増大,事務コストの削減,企業情報への容易なアクセス等の効果が期待される。SEDAR規則の概要およびシステムの基本構成,トロント証券取引所の情報提供サービスを述べることによって,カナダにおける電子開示の現状を明らかにした。
