Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The observation of Higgs boson production in association with a top quark pair (t¯tH), based on the analysis of proton–proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeVrecorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider, is presented. Using data corresponding to integrated luminosities of up to 79.8fb−1, and considering Higgs boson decays into b¯ b, WW∗, τ+τ−, γγ, and ZZ∗, the observed significance is 5.8 standard deviations, compared to an expectation of 4.9 standard deviations. Combined with the t¯tHsearches using a dataset corresponding to integrated luminosities of 4.5fb−1at 7TeVand 20.3fb−1at 8TeV, the observed (expected) significance is 6.3 (5.1) standard deviations. Assuming Standard Model branching fractions, the total t¯tHproduction cross section at 13TeVis measured to be 670±90(stat.)+110−100(syst.)fb, in agreement with the Standard Model prediction.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
