Abstract
Cet article participe à la compréhension des processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage associés au fait de donner un ordinateur à des élèves pour surmonter des difficultés d’apprentissage dans une perspective de différenciation pédagogique. L’étude mobilise les concepts d’affordance et de genèse instrumentale pour comprendre les défis. Les témoignages des enseignants et des enseignantes spécialisés montrent que l’élève a souvent un rôle secondaire dans le déploiement d’outils standardisés. Sur cette base, nous proposons un instrument de mesure de la place de l’élève dans la gestion de son environnement personnel d’apprentissage (EPA). Cet instrument, bien que conceptuel, suggère trois axes : l’accompagnement à l’identification des affordances, la gestion de l’EPA comme objectif d’apprentissage et le soutien à l’agentivité de l’élève. Finalement, nous discutons des implications d’une telle approche dans les déploiements numériques.
