Abstract
Les livres numériques d’expression française sont offerts au lectorat des bibliothèques publiques au Québec et dans les communautés francophones en situation minoritaire (CFSM) au Canada selon un modèle de licences d’utilisation. Elles imposent différentes conditions en permettant, mais aussi en restreignant l’accès. Nous nous intéressons, dans cet article, aux regards posés sur cette offre par les professionnelles et professionnels des bibliothèques dans la perspective de la découvrabilité, ce qui nous permet de concilier à la fois les questionnements portant sur les livres numériques en tant que contenus, ceux relatifs à la plateforme les rendant disponibles et ceux concernant la rencontre entre ces contenus et leurs publics.
