De nombreuses observations astrophysiques indiquent l’existence de grandes quantités de masse invisible dans l’Univers, appelée matière noire, dont la nature reste indéfinie, ce qui en fait l’un des enjeux majeurs de la physique moderne. Cette thèse s’inscrit dans le contexte de la détection directe de matière noire et ce dans le cadre de l’expérience DAMIC qui est installé au laboratoire souterrain de SnoLab (Canada). Mon travail de recherche s’est déroulé au sein du LPNHE qui participe à cette collaboration. Un système de lecture et de contrôle de CCD installé au LPNHE, a pour but d’étudier le comportement de ce détecteur. : il est constitué de cartes électroniques conçues au LPNHE. L’une de ces cartes supporte un ASIC de lecture appelé ASPIC ou CROC selon les versions, lequel amplifie le signal de sortie de CCD avec un gain programmable, ce permet de lire ce signal avec deux modes de lecture : Clamp & Sample et Dual Slope Integrator. Une autre carte supportant trois ASICs de contrôle appelés CABAC est capable de fournir toutes les horloges et les tensions de polarisation nécessaires au fonctionnement du CCD. Ce système contrôlé par un FPGA contient également un ADC qui permet de numériser le signal fourni par le CCD afin de le traiter par ordinateur. L’objectif de cette thèse est d’étudier les performances de ces ASICs ainsi que les résultats obtenus pour la caractérisation des CCD.
