Literflute.activity in the field.If they can continue to accumulate data at the present rate, we may soon hope to know more of the birds of the Province than of almost any other part of Canada.The only serious fault to be found is with the arrangement of the matter, which seems to have been printed in the .order in which the observations happened to be reported at the successive meetings.There is a vast mass of valuable material, but much of it is, for this reason, almost inaccessible.This difficulty migbt have been to a great extent remedied by a good index, which is sadly lacking.--C.F.
