Ground fi'ozen.It is not usual for any bird to feed on the larv:e of this moth.A male [clertts .,•bur[uswas collected May r3, •8S7, while pursuing insects througt• willow blossoms, just east of the city limits.Believed to be the first anthentic record of the occurrence of this bird at Toronto.A male European Goldfinch (Carduelt's eb,•ans) was collected May 2•, x8S7, by Mr. Daniel S.
