Abstract
Ladislav Blam nije bio pisac niti istoričar; pišući ove „Memoare“ on je ponovo proživeo sve strahote Holokausta i sve tragične trenutke u svom životu. Izgubivši dva odrasla sina, starijeg u prvoj godini rata, a mlađeg pred kraj, smogao je snage da stavi na papir sve te strašne i neverovatne momente koje je zajedno sa suprugom na čudesan način preživeo. Ovaj rukopis sadrži podatke i sudbine o mnogim jevrejskim porodicama iz Vojvodine ali i iz Budimpešte, Segedina i Beča. I tako je Laslo Blam postao „hroničar“ tih tužnih godina i jedan od malobrojnih koji je to napisao. „Da sam drugačije postupio, da li bi moji sinovi bili živi?“ pita on samog sebe. Otac doživljava teške trenutke. I tek kada se pročita ceo rukopis može se shvatiti šta se sve dešavalo tokom tih godina.
