En esta publicación se refleja un diálogo sobre los diversos sentidos y las distintas formas de hacer memoria sostenido por tres organizaciones de víctimas y familiares de víctimas con la participación del Instituto de Democracia y Derechos Humanos de la PUCP (IDEHPUCP). Esta reunión, realizada en agosto de 2024, tuvo como título Encuentro de Saberes y estuvo inserta dentro de un conjunto de actividades más amplio denominado «Fortaleciendo el camino de la memoria y la paz: red por la memoria». Participaron en este encuentro tres organizaciones: la Asociación Nacional de Familiares de Secuestrados, Detenidos y Desaparecidos del Perú (ANFASEP) de Ayacucho; la Federación Regional de Afectados y Víctimas por la Violencia Política de Huancavelica (FRAVIPH) y la Asociación de Víctimas de la Violencia Política de la provincia de Angaraes-Lircay de Huancavelica (AVVIPAL). Ese diálogo, a su vez, ha estado enmarcado dentro de la labor de la Red Internacional de Memoria Transformativa (TMIN, según sus siglas en inglés) coordinada por la Universidad de British Columbia, en Canadá, a la cual agradecemos el sustantivo apoyo que lo ha hecho posible.
