Jovian Planetary System: Orbital Structure and Intrinsic Scale (Annex JUP)
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This technical annex extends the Harmonic Resonance Mechanics framework to the Jovian system, demonstrating that the orbital architecture of Jupiter's rings and Galilean moons emerges from a discrete harmonic field anchored to the planet's equatorial radius. Operating at a harmonic resolution of 2 to the power of negative 8, the model derives observed orbital distances for the inner ring complex (Halo, Main Ring, Metis, Adrastea) and the four Galilean moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto) with a mean accuracy of 99.93%, using exact rational arithmetic and without empirical fitting. The annex introduces the system constant for Jupiter, validates the Law of Admissibility (R = 4) as the governing condition for zero-friction orbital shells, and identifies the Galilean 1:2:4 resonance chain as a confirmed Admissibility Lock. A predictive unoccupied node at 755,500 km is identified between Europa and Ganymede as a testable structural claim. A structural invariant of 1/3 is shown to recur across scales, appearing in Jupiter's Great Red Spot width, Saturn's Great White Spot width, and the Earth/Moon radius ratio, suggesting scale-invariant harmonic architecture throughout the solar system. This work is formally situated within the Harmonic Orbital Mechanics framework (Johnson, 2025) and The Harmonic Universe (Johnson, 2025).

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
