Abstract
Tässä opinnäytetyössä käsitellään sisältömarkkinointia osana yrityksen toimintaa. Opinnäytetyön aihe sai alkunsa 2015 kesällä tulleesta omasta ideasta, joka syntyi kiinnostuksesta markkinointiin ja sisältömarkkinointiin. Työn teko ajoittui vuoden 2015 jälkimmäiselle puoliskolle ja julkaisu tapahtui tammikuussa 2016. Tavoitteena oli selvittää kuinka yritykset käyttävät sisältömarkkinointia ja miten hyödylliseksi he kokevat sen. Ensin tutkittiin sisältömarkkinointia teorian avulla, jotta saadaan hyvä ymmärrys tutkittavasta aiheesta. Sisältömarkkinoinnin teorian jälkeen tehtiin kvantitatiivinen tutkimus sähköisen kyselytutkimuksen muodossa. Kyselyn toteutus ajoittui talveen 2015. Sen tekeminen aloitettiin Webropol -kyselylomakkeen muodostamisella, jonka jälkeen linkki kyselylomakkeeseen lähetettiin yrityksille. Tämän tutkimuksen toteutus ja tulokset löytyvät opinnäytetyön loppupuolelta. Kyselyyn tuli 20 vastausta, jotka analysoitiin kuvioiden avulla. Tuloksista ilmeni että suurin osa vastaajista kertoi yrityksen käyttävän sisältömarkkinointia ja että siitä koetaan olevan vaikutusta myyntiin.
